Croatian Guides Donates for a Better World  Email Friend
It is our goal at Croatian Guides to provide more than a wonderful vacation to our guests and friends. It is our mission to help the world with some of its needs: world hunger, world health, and world safety. Croatian Guides donates 10% of proceeds on a quarterly basis to a variety of organizations. Descriptions of organizations we are currently supporting are listed below.

Deep within the borders of Croatia, outside the cities, still lie active land mines marked to be cleared by 2008...."the presence of land mines still cripples Croatia’s recovery. Thirteen of 21 counties are affected by land mines, measuring 1,700 square kilometers. The land mine threat restricts mobility and impedes development. There is still much to be done and international donor support is still needed. With continued support, Croatia expects to be declared ‘mine-safe’ by 2008."
